EoA Submission Guidelines

To participate in the "Echoes of the Archipelago: Innovation and Insight Prize," please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Account Creation and Verification:

   • Register an Account: You must create an account and set up a profile on the ICD platform. This is required for all submissions.

   • Enrollment Verification: To confirm your eligibility, you must demonstrate that you are currently enrolled in a university program or an equivalent educational institution. This can be done by uploading proof of enrollment or a current student ID during the registration process.

2. Submission Requirements:

   • Abstracts: All abstracts must be submitted in English. The abstract should provide a concise summary of your work, including its main objectives, methodology, and key findings.

   • Body of Work: The main body of your submission may be written in English, Japanese, or Spanish. Ensure that the text is clear, well-organized, and adheres to the submission category guidelines.

3. Rights and Publishing:

   • Author Rights: ICD Japan respects your rights as an author. We do not require exclusive rights to publish your work. You are free to share your contributions on other platforms as you choose.

   • ICD’s Rights: While you retain ownership of your work, ICD Japan will retain the rights to publish and reference your work in perpetuity. This means your work may be featured on our platform and in related materials, ensuring ongoing visibility and acknowledgment.

4. Submission Formats:

   • Research Papers: Submit as a PDF file.

   • Innovative Projects: Provide clear documentation of your project in the specified format.

   • Multimedia Presentations: Upload as video files or other specified formats, ensuring high quality and clarity.
